Dr. Nail’s Credentials

FAGD

The FAGD acronym stands for “Fellow in the Academy of General Dentistry.” It is one of the most prestigious awards in dentistry and designates that the awarded dentist has achieved clear standing of excellence within their profession. Only 6% of dentists in North America have attained this achievement.

Implants

What sets a dental implant dentist apart from a general dentist?

Dental implant dentists are dentists who have completed additional training in the placement and management of dental implants. This extra training allows them to place and restore dental implants with greater accuracy and expertise than general dentists. While a general dentist will have a suffix of DDS (Doctor of Dental Surgery) or DMD (Doctor of Medicine in Dentistry or Doctor of Dental Medicine), an implant dentist will have additional titles. Dr. Nail is a DIDIA – Diplomate in the International Dental Implant Association

Dr. Nail achieved both his fellowship and mastership award from the International Dental Implant Association. In order to provide the most advanced care, Dr. Nail has spent thousands of hours of additional training on the restoration of single teeth to a complete full arch to bone grafting. His advanced implantology and oral surgery training and education has earned him this prestigious and highest level Diplomate Award from IDIA.
